Tried to rest most of the day without going too crazy. I stopped by work for a bit (important campaign needed some work). I did my laundry and had flashes of me falling down the stairs and breaking my leg. Is it bad that I half wished it would happen so I'd have a valid excuses not to do the marathon??
Oh! last night I had the most vivid dream that I crossed the finish line. I woke up feeling so relieved that it was over and that I'd been successful in completing. Then reality hit that I hadn't even done it yet! Oh well it still helped to make me feel better.
Tonight, while stretching, I watched The Spirit of the Marathon that Katherine sent me - I need to do a special post on the amazing basket o'goodies and dvd that devon and katherine sent me - which I'd heard was a great documentary and would make me feel grreat! Well it kind of did. I seemed to ride the roller coaster of emotions from yes I can do this to holy shit I'm screwed.
I need to get a good night's sleep tonight which should be doable because even though I've done nothing all day I'm exhausted.

i'm glad you watched the movie... i really thought it was inspirational! yes, it def made me feel slow, but cmon if those other people can do it, dang it, so can we!! it may not be pretty, it may not be fast.... but we can do it! and hey... even the lady who started crying in the middle was able to finish! i'm so so proud of you!! can't wait to hear all about it!
