Exclamation intervention

I'm giving myself an exclamation point intervention. I feel I use them too often to convey excitement or just emotion in general. It's time to stop. I will do my best to use them more sparingly.

'tis why i use so many periods. sometimes i go back through an email i've written just to convert those eps to periods.
