Day 253 - San Diego

I made the not so short drive to SD this morning to see my cousins. As with my family they're not direct 1st cousins - why would it be that simple? My Mom's cousin Muffy and her husband live in Del Mar. They've been there since before my parents moved to CA. Actually Rob worked at Scripps Institute of Oceanography for decades. They have 2 kids: Leila and Jamie.

Leila now lives in San Diego with her husband Kurt, son Calvin, and brand new (9 weeks old) daughter Phoebe.

Jamie lives in NYC with his wife Celena and almost brand new (born in January) daughter Linnea.

Jamie, Celena and Linnea were all in town so I went down to visit the entire family and meet my 2 new cousins (2nd cousins once removed if you want to get technical).

Only exercising I did (besides driving which was oh so exercise filled) was to take a walk with Celena and Linnea. It wasn't a hard walk by any means but we did encounter some big ass hills that made it a little more heart pounding.
