I tried to tell the family to rest all day but they had a very hard time with that.
We started the day with brunch at Shutters. It was a great meal but the best part was my Mom commenting on all their "authentic" east coast touches. It was like home to her.
Then we did a few home repairs (by we I mean me and Dad).
After that we headed to Anaheim to check in, get our race packets and go to Disneyland. Wait what?! Yeah I managed to talk them out of that one.
We had a lovely dinner at Roy's Hawaiian with the munchkins and adults. I reminded everyone to carbo load but managed to have not a single carb in my entire meal. Not one!
So we went home to go to bed. Race starts at 6AM so we're getting up at 4. There was a group of 25+ cheerleaders staying in our hall. I ended up calling securtiy on their perky little asses because I needed some sleep. Yes I'm getting old.
